As a provider of professional auditing and advisory services, our primary environmental impact stems from business travel and office-related activities. We are committed to minimizing our footprint through conscious choices, compensatory measures, and continuous improvement.

2. Key Environmental Impacts

Our environmental impact primarily arises from:
- Business travel, especially by car and airplane
- Energy and paper use in digital and administrative processes

We aim to address these through practical, realistic, and impactful measures that align with our business model and operational needs.

3. Travel Policy and Emission Controls

Car Travel
- Company cars are limited to a maximum CO₂ emission of 125 grams/km, in line with our lease policy.
- Carpooling is encouraged wherever feasible to reduce the total number of trips and emissions per person.

Air Travel
- We recognize the significant environmental impact of air travel.
- Where flying is necessary, we compensate our emissions through Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) purchases to the greatest extent possible.
- For shorter journeys, we prioritize train travel for trips under 4 hours door-to-door.

Train Travel
- Train travel is the preferred mode of transport within regions where travel time remains under a 2-hour threshold.
- Employees are encouraged and supported in choosing rail over air or car travel in applicable cases.

4. Office and Work Practices

Paperless Work
- We strive to work digitally and paperless wherever possible.
- Physical printing and paper use is minimized through digital documentation, cloud collaboration, and secure file exchange.

Remote Work and Meetings
- Where appropriate, virtual meetings are encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel.
- Flexible working arrangements reduce commuting and support a more sustainable work culture.

5. Monitoring and Improvement

- We track our travel-related emissions and paper use annually to identify trends and opportunities for further reduction.
- Our partners review environmental practices as part of our internal compliance process.
- We welcome feedback from our team and stakeholders to improve our sustainability efforts.

6. Responsibility and Accountability

All staff, partners, and contractors at Approven Partners LLP are expected to understand and adhere to this Environmental Policy. Each individual plays a role in supporting our shared environmental goals through daily decisions and actions.
